Many thanks to those who were able to attend the meeting in January. 

I hope that the poor weather is finally behind us and we can get the season started. As promised I have booked tee times on the 3^rd and 4^th April to kick-off the season.

The main reason for these games is to get you a Playing Handicap for the upcoming season.

Each game will be a Stableford competition played off full handicap.

Score cards will be made out and issued to you when you check in at the Pro Shop. Your handicap will be allocated by the Professional prior to your tee off.

For those of you relatively new to the game, you will be plating with a full member who will be able to help you with any questions about rule or etiquette.

I hope that the weather is fine and that you can all play.

Your performance will allow the Handicap Committee to allocate or confirm your playing handicap..

Derbyshire & Cheshire Junior League. 

Davenport enters a team into the D&C Junior League. In these events a team of 5 is entered and on the day, the best 3 gross scores and the best 3 net scores count towards the team score. These scores are aggregated over the events (see dates below) to produce a league winner. 

We run two leagues and so the league winners play-off giving us our overall winners. As recently as 2016, Davenport came out as top dogs. 

This year’s fixtures are at Chapel en le Frith (1st June), Hazel Grove (30th July), New Mills (3rd August) and Davenport (10th August).
