Return to Golf, Phase 2 of Government Roadmap commencing 12th April 2021

After the successful Return to Golf was introduced on the on 29th March and now are able to move to Phase 2 of the Governments plan. So Commencing Monday 12th April the following rules apply

Locker Rooms:
Are now open for storage of clubs and if necessary to get changed. Maximum of 4 people in the Gents Locker room at any one time and maximum of 2 people at a time in the Ladies Locker room. Wherever possible the clubs advice is to still arrive at the club ready for play no more than 10 minutes prior to your tee time. Access to the Locker rooms is from outside only and doors into the clubhouse will remain locked.

Showers are NOT in use.

Face Masks must be worn when in Locker Room and Pro Shop which is now open for business but please be advised that a maximum of 2 people only are allowed in Pro’s shop and please follow Social Distancing rules.

Food and Drink:
Can now be served outside, with table service only, the rule of 6 applies; again please adhere to the social distancing guidelines. If any member who has not played golf and uses the bar and catering facility, please ensure you register your presence by using the QR code which is displayed on all entrances or please advise B & C staff (same applies if a member brings a guest to the club)

On The Course:
• Observe social distancing
• Avoid slow play.
• Groups can be waved through at a safe social distance
• Ball washers out of use
• Flagstick to remain in hole, do not touch
• Rakes are not in use.
• On course bells to be struck with golf club
• No handshakes
• Compressors out of use

Finally and I know how easy it is to forget and I’m sure you are all tired of hearing it........please continue to remember the importance of, Hand sanitation; Face masks, which must be worn in all indoor settings and finally Space, stay 2 metres apart at all times.
